Sweet 12-Bar Funky Soul Drum Loops

Get Out My Eyes Teardrops is loosely based on a Solomon Burke classic. We wanted to capture that 95bpm 4/4 swung feel with nice open sounding drum tones.

The beauty of the 12 bar is that it’s songs within songs; you can build each pattern, then drop back again and build even more! We had a blast recording this one…

Move the 12 bar song sections around to suit your new or existing project or use as a soul drum backing track. There are also percussion parts – shaker, tambourine and congas – to lift the different arrangement sections.

There are 6 variations of a 12 bar pattern played in a swung 4/4 funky soul feel at 95 bpm as well as an intro, breakdown, outro and final hit.

We also put down some percussion for certain sections of this Song Slice pack just to really set it off and make it bounce and swing.

Tambo and shaker are on their own dedicated tracks. Congas were recorded on 2 tracks – both near and far for blending.
