Hi. I’m Merlin...

Session drummer / multi-instrumentalist / writer / engineer / producer with 25+ years music industry experience.

Versatile by style & genre – classic rock, heavy rock, metal, funk, R&B, soul, hip-hop – I also enjoy writing and producing music to order.

I frequently use virtual instruments, but in general my productions lean towards real live-recorded instrumentation.

I work from my studio “The Beat Shed” in Oxfordshire, UK. The Beat Shed is also a website (this one!) that offers boutique live drum recordings.
